Wow so impressive, in such informal setting.
I walked this morning to work in Mayfair and walked by the window which was dark for some year, I believe
Thanksgiving, even though being a Dutchman, is near to my heart. I used to work in the windy City, Chicago. Over this period, my US friends would travel to Chicago and we would gather for a sumptuous meal. I will be there tonight, and bring some of my friends along, who were not able to travel home for these ‘Hallmark’ holidays
23rd November 2006 at 3:44 pmMy wife and I used to live in Philly so when I heard that Cookbook was putting on Thanksgiving, we were both in.
We rocked up last night and it was wonderful. Real turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie. All beutiful in presentation and taste. Even my wine was perfect.
I love the idea with the cookbooks and really getting into the art of things. Even the Chef (Michelle I think it was) came out to explain the various different cheeses on offer.
Clifford, thanks so much for a wonderful evening.

We all had fantastic fun-thank you again.

Well this was my first Thanksgiving dinner, and what a great start.
I loved the Butternut squash soup and the Turkey was easily the best I’ve ever had. The friendly staff, coupled with a few glasses of wine, made the evening very enjoyable.
Thankyou for your hospitality!
